Oto is a photo booth. But Oto's owners weren't happy to go with a square MDF box and a shower curtain like the others. So we were approached to design a knock down booth that would stand out from the crowd!
My Role: Lead Designer
Designed For: Designbrand Ltd.
I designed this booth as a flat pack structure from plywood. A high-stretch fabric is fitted over the assembled frame to create a cocoon like enclosure for the punters. Oto's camera and printer are housed in a bent plywood and stainless steel tower that also knocks down into manageable sized boxes.
The knock down aspect was important as Oto travels to venues and requires set-up at each location. Oto has removable doors that allow either a more private or a more open feel. Hatch doors in the tower allow Oto's handlers easy access to setup and maintain the equipment during an event.
